Robert
Robert Davis grew up in Lehi, Utah, a small town nestled between Salt Lake City and Provo. With the mountains just minutes from his home, Robert spent much of his time mountain biking, hiking, camping, rock climbing, and any other way he could find to get hurt.
Robert loves to draw, and whenever he has to sit still, he will have a pencil in hand, and the margins of his paper will be filled with crude drawings.
Following High School, Robert served the Lord as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in beautiful Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
Robert started school at Utah Valley State College studying Graphic and Commercial Art, but when he became interested in writing code, switched to Computer Science. Nearing the completion of his Bachelor’s degree, he realized that he wasn’t very happy because he was losing creativity in his work, so he switched to Multimedia Communications Technology (UVSC) where he worked in Web programming, Film, and 3D.
Robert worked at Nu Skin/Big Planet for several years in Tech Support, as a Flash Developer, and as an Operations Manager before he started working for the LDS church as a software engineer for their online Indexing/Family History Search program.
Robert spends most of his free time (while his kids are awake) with his family, then is drawn into his office to work on web sites and other projects in the late evening.
